Vote for your favorite ad!

We are studying inference and in The Lightning Thief there is a character that we decided to take a deeper look at. We tried to create ads to help us understand why or how Crusty behaves the way he does. We tried to think like Crusty to create these ads.

Take a look -

Vote on the side for your TV ad AND your favorite newspaper ad!

How can someone be discovered if they were there the entire time?

Chapter 15 is titled, “Discovered.” In what way is Zinkoff discovered? Why does it happen at this time and not before?

Be sure to answer in at least 5 full sentences. Pay attention to your capitalization and punctuation.

Read your classmates' comments and feel free to comment (or ask them questions about their comments) on their thoughts as well.

I am so proud of first attempts to create book reviews. Hopefully more will follow and as we become more experienced with our technology we will be presenting more and more.

Updates to our class

Hello everyone!

Our class has been very busy over these past 4 weeks! We have been busy exploring how to use our computers to create multimedia presentations and hopefully by next month you should be seeing these creations on our wiki page.

I have now created a text messaging service so if you would like to receive texts (just like when you subscribe for coupons at various restaurants) about class news. I see this being used as reminders for projects, tests, field trips, picture days, etc. Follow the directions below.

Here are a few pictures of the past weeks.

Loser

Tell us what you think about Zinkoff. Do you think he is aware of how his 2nd grade teacher views him? Why do you think his teacher doesn't like him? Tell me some of your inner thoughts you had when Zinkoff was delivering mail and that kid was so rude to him.

Happy Mother's Day!

In honor of our mothers, each student in our class has written a paragraph describing their mother. Happy Mother's Day!
